篝火之夜（英语：Bonfire Night），又称盖伊·福克斯之夜（Guy Fawkes Night）是指每年11月5日在英国举行的庆祝活动。按照传统习俗，当天人们会搭建篝火，燃放焰火，焚烧火药阴谋的策划者的假人。
节庆渊源可追溯至1605年11月5日，盖伊·福克斯和他的天主教教友们在议会大厦地底的一个地下室内存放大量炸药，计划在11月15日议会大幕当天引爆炸药炸死詹姆斯一世和其他议员，但被议会的保卫队长抓获，于次年2月10日在伦敦塔处死。为了纪念国家面临的这个迫在眉睫的危机，詹姆斯一世决定将11月5日定为篝火之夜[1]。
该庆祝活动也应后来的殖民扩张而传播的世界各地，如英联邦国家的澳大利亚、新西兰、加拿大和一些加勒比地区的国家。加勒比地区的安提瓜和巴布达在20世纪90年底因为颁布了烟花禁令而使得庆祝活动不如以往那样热烈。
时至今日，在当天被焚烧的假人变得多种多样，甚至连萨达姆·侯赛因、前首相戈登·布朗、托尼·布莱尔等人也成为了假人。
起源与历史
篝火之夜起源于1605年的火药阴谋，为一群外省的英格兰天主教徒试图刺杀新教的英格兰和苏格兰国王詹姆斯六世及一世的失败的阴谋。11月5日，盖伊·福克斯在看守放置在上议院地下室内存放的大量炸药时被议会的保卫队长抓获，随后议会允许公众用篝火庆祝国王的幸存，只要他们“没有任何危险或混乱”[2]。1605年便就此成为庆祝阴谋失败的第一年[3]。
其它国家
篝火之夜也随着英国的殖民扩张传播到世界各地的殖民地，包括英联邦国家的成员，如澳大利亚、新西兰、加拿大和多个加勒比国家[4]。其中圣文森特和格林纳丁斯以及圣基茨和尼维斯至今仍然庆祝该节日，安提瓜和巴布达则在1990年代禁止燃放烟花爆竹，降低了篝火之夜在该国的受欢迎程度[5]。
